Emily is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina and attended Catawba College on Tennis and Volleyball scholarships. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and has worked for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department, the State Bureau of Investigation and the District Attorney's office. She now is pursuing her life-long dream by going back to school to become a certified Veterinary Technician. In addition to working as a Veterinary Technician at a local veterinary hospital, she also oversees the healthcare of the dogs at Leatherwood, is the best bird girl and our office manager. Emily has a lovely daughter, Charlsie, five dogs of her own, MAmmy, Gotcha, Booger, Piper, and StellA, two dogs of Linwood's, Smokey and King, a cat, Simmons, and two hermit crabs, Pearly and Sam.
